Amazing place for deep work! I did sound immersion and shamanic breath-work there, and energy has been flooding through my system since the first class. Unfortunately there’s some consistent traffic noise, which makes it difficult for those who struggle to focus, and their blankets don’t seem clean, but the spiritual journey and vibe are 100% worth it.

Chiang Mai Holistic is such a peaceful and healing space. I went for a sound bath and it was an incredible experience. The energy is calm, the staff are kind, and the space feels truly sacred. It is the perfect place to relax, release stress, and reconnect with yourself.

My husband and I attended the 7:30pm Tibetan sound bowl healing on a Thursday evening, and unfortunately it was a very poor experience. The room has virtually no soundproofing. We were placed in the room closest to Canal Road, and throughout the entire session we could clearly hear traffic, motorcycles, and airplanes overhead. At times, the road noise was louder than the sound bowls themselves, which made it impossible to relax or stay present. The sound bowls, rather than being calming, felt extremely harsh and anxiety-inducing for me. Within the first few minutes I felt on the verge of a panic attack and wanted to leave, but hoped it would improve—it didn’t. There were also several inconsistencies with how the session was managed. We were told that anyone arriving more than five minutes late would lose their spot, yet around 15 minutes into the session, the front desk staff brought in a group of people and had them lie down, which was disruptive. Throughout the hour, the front desk woman repeatedly entered the room and hovered over attendees, including myself and my husband, which felt uncomfortable and distracting. Additionally, phones were supposedly not allowed in the room, but the person next to me had her phone out and the screen kept lighting up, completely breaking the dark, calm atmosphere. I’ve had this experience pinned as something I wanted to try for years, and I was genuinely looking forward to it. Sadly, it was not relaxing, not well-managed, and far from the healing experience I expected.

Summarise my sound healing experience with Chiang Mai Holistic with different instruments from crystal bowl, Tibetan bowl, alchemy crystal bowl, & Thai Gong. I believe every individual has different needs of sound frequency. I personally prefer crystal bowl & Thai gong frequency which is stronger than the other 2. I have a great experience and wish you could have a great experience too. It’s a good chance to try them while you at Chiang Mai. Highly recommended!

Beautiful studio where I learnt to play singing bowls. The instructor, Ali Young, is knowledgeable and most importantly, sincere and willing to share from the heart. They hold regular yoga, meditation and other healing and wellness sessions but too bad my stay wasn’t long enough to attend one of them. Will be back! Thank you, Chiang Mai Holistic, for a wonderful learning experience.
